David "Tiny" Charles Gann
School Resource Officer For Sequatchie County
Lt. David "Tiny" Charles Gann, 48, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
He was a member of the Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Department and served as School Resource Officer at the Sequatchie County Schools.
David was a member of Middle Valley Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon, the Sequatchie Valley Lodge FOP, Hixson Lodge 727 F&AM, and Hixson Chapter 310 OES.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Wilma Gann, and sister Nancy Gann.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Gann; son, James Gann; and daughter, Jessica Gann, all of Hixson; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Stephen Marcum of Oneida, Tn.; aunts and uncles, Alma and Tom Bowman, of Mentone, Al., Bobby and Mary Lou Wilson, of Soddy-Daisy; parents-in-law, James and Frances Graves, of Henegar, Al.; sister-in-law, Sheila Cassady of Athens, Al.; nieces, Beth Marcum, Danielle and Lauren Cassady; nephew, Stephen Marcum; beloved cousins and a host of friends.
